BrotherStrong, founded in December 2017, is a dedicated and visionary organization with a singular mission: to empower and uplift Black men. Rooted in the celebration of our unique strengths, BrotherStrong is committed to fostering a sense of unity, resilience, and purpose within the Black male community.
At BrotherStrong, we recognize that the journey to empowerment begins from within, and our core values revolve around the principles of SELF, FAMILY, and COMMUNITY. These pillars form the bedrock of our organization's philosophy, and guide our every endeavor to make positive impacts on the lives of Black men.
SELF
BrotherStrong believes that personal growth and development are essential components of empowerment. We encourage Black men to cultivate self-awareness, self-confidence, and self-fulfillment. Through a range of programs, workshops, and resources, we aim to help individuals uncover their true potential and chart a path towards success.
FAMILY
We understand the importance of strong family bonds and the role they play in nurturing a supportive environment. BrotherStrong seeks to strengthen family connections within the Black community, fostering unity, understanding, and love. By providing guidance on building and maintaining healthy family relationships, we aspire to empower both individuals and their wider communities.
Community
BrotherStrong envisions a future where Black men are actively engaged in and contributing to their communities. We emphasize collective accountability, encouraging individuals to take ownership of their role within the broader community. Through community outreach, mentorship programs, and collaboration, we aim to uplift not only Black men but also the communities they are a part of.
Our motto, "I am, YOU are, WE are... BrotherStrong!" reflects our belief in the interconnectedness of individuals within the Black male community. By recognizing the strength and potential in each person, we foster a sense of collective power that can drive positive change and create opportunities for growth and advancement.
